Ministry of Culture of Union of Myanmar Declared the AZ and PZ in Arakan

Dhannya Waddy Palace Wall

For the Financial Year of 2011-2012, Ministry of Culture, Union of Myanmar, has issued its newly Five regions of Ancient Site Zone (AZ) and Procected and Preserved Zone (PZ) on May 10,2012. Among them, two regions of Arakan have been recognized by AZ and PZ. The Zones are both Sanla Waddy (Thanla Waddy) village and Vesali (Waethali) village and Vesali Ancient Site in Mrauk U Township and than Mahamuni village and Ancient Site of Dhannyawaddy in Kyouk Taw Township.
